Admissions

The
Technology Center training programs are designed to prepare students for specific
technical careers. Prospective students are urged to apply at any time. Enrollment
is based on first come, first serve basis. The minimum age for enrollment is 18,
unless specified by other admissions standards.
Steps in making application
are as follows:
- Contact the TTC-C to discuss training desires
and objectives with the admissions counselor.
- Complete an application
and file it with the Student Service Office.
- Applicant will be
placed in training program if there is an opening or on a waiting list for the
next opening.
- Students enrolling in a full-time program will complete
a pre-assessment exam prior to official enrollment to assist students in successfully
completing their training.
*Note: Persons wanting in the nursing program
should talk with Student Services regarding selection criteria, as no waiting
list is maintained for this program. Please see additional admissions requirements
information below for the nursing & truck driver training programs.
- Practical Nursing students must have a high school or GED diploma, score
a minimum of 51 in Reading and 42 in Math on the Nurse Entrance Test (NET), and
successfully complete a thorough physical exam.
- Truck
Driving students must be 21 years or older, have a DOT Certified Physical Exam,
a good Moving Violation Record, and meet the requirements of the Institutional
Drug Policy.
