Dual Enrollment for High School Students

 
The Technology Center at Crump offers high school students the opportunity to earn dual enrollment credit (credit at high school and credit at the Technology Center).  This opportunity is available in our area to Hardin County High School, Adamsville High School, and McNairy Central High School in the following classes:  Business Systems, Collision Repair, Computer Information Systems, Computerized Graphic Design, Drafting & CAD, Electronics, HVAC,  Industrial Electricity, Industrial Maintenance, Machine Tool Technology, and Welding.
 
Eligible students must have completed at least the sophomore year of high school with a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Requests for exceptions may be submitted to the Student Services Coordinator of the Technology Center. Such requests must be signed by the principal and the counselor or high school teacher in the relevant academic area. Students must submit to the Technology Center Admissions Office:
 

High school students enrolled in the dual enrollment program must maintain a dual enrollment cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 (85.75) in their course of study in order to continue receiving funds for subsequent enrollments. Currently, tuition fees are covered by the availability of dual enrollment scholarship funds. These funds cover the cost for tuition for each dual enrollment student.   

All other costs associated with enrollment for Technology Center courses: transportation expenses, textbooks, and materials shall be the responsibility of the student, his/her parent, or his/her legal guardian.
