Technology Foundations
The Technology Foundations Center provides basic skills training in all areas. The program curriculum is set up on computers which allows students to work at their own pace in the areas they need or desire.
The TTC-C Technology Foundations program incorporates the use of a leading Computer Assisted Instructional Programs called PLATO. It assesses each students' needs and routes them through instruction and tutorials in these areas. The system is designed to address only the areas of need, not wasting time on areas of study that the student is proficient in.
The system is also geared to assist a student in preparing for the GED.
The Center is open for full-time or part-time students to address each ones' individual needs. Students may address their basic skills needs or may prepare for the GED or ACT in the lab. An instructor is available at all times in the lab to assist. Students are enrolled in the Center on a first come, first serve basis.
